Rekindled Lotus Candle Lite
While I was shopping for my etsy shops this weekend I came across this old tin lotus candle stick in awful shape. I gave it a little bending, paint and added a globe I already had and now it looks wonderful on my mantle with my other white piece.
Always look twice and always think about paint if an object is worn or scratched. I just love it.

Making Your Own Apothecary Display
Picking up a few candlesticks, jars, lids or even pieces that fit nicely together but doesn't match can also make a wonderful looking useful jar.
Always use a good adhesive like E6000 to hold pieces together and let them set 24 hours before handling. Sometimes it will take up to 2 days if the glass is heavy.
Add almost anything to them, spools, shells, marbles, yarnballs, lace, broken jewelry, the list is endless.
Put them together in three's or almost any odd number looks the best. Have fun with this inexpensive craft project.
